Frequently Asked Questions

Is a prescription actually required for this kit?

Yes. These are real, high-potency medications. But we’ve made the process easy. Your order includes a professional medical consultation. A U.S. board-certified physician will review your history to ensure these specific meds are safe and appropriate for you before they write the prescription.

Is this worth the money if I already have health insurance?

Think of it this way—insurance is great when the system is working. But if the pharmacy is closed, the roads are blocked, or the shelves are empty, your insurance card is just a piece of plastic. This kit fills the gap when insurance can’t. It’s a one-time investment in "Health Independence" that you can’t get at a standard clinic.

Are these medications authentic and safe?

Yes. We don’t deal in "mystery meds" or overseas knock-offs. Every single pill in your Reserve Med Kit is sourced from FDA-registered, state-licensed pharmacies right here in the USA. These are the same name-brand or high-quality generic medications you’d get at your local drug store.

How long do these medications last? Do they expire quickly?

Most medications in your kit have a shelf life measured in years. We recommend checking expiration dates periodically and arranging for timely replenishment. Store the Kit per the guidebook's instructions to preserve potency through that date.

Why shouldn't I just wait until I’m sick to go to the doctor?

Because "waiting" is a luxury you might not have in a crisis. Whether it’s a supply chain shortage (like the recent Amoxicillin and Tamiflu scares) or a natural disaster that keeps you homebound, having these on hand means you start treating an infection on Day 1—not Day 5 when things have turned dangerous.

What if I don’t know which pill to take?

We won’t leave you hanging. Every kit includes the Reserve Med Step-by-Step Guidebook. It’s written in plain English—no medical degree required. It tells you exactly what each med is for, how much to take, and when to seek further help. Plus, your kit is prescribed specifically for you, so there's no guesswork about safety.

Is the evaluation and service fee refundable?

The $299 purchase price includes a non-refundable evaluation and service fee of $35 per order, consisting of a $20 medical consultation fee paid to the independent physician network and a $15 platform and processing fee retained by Reserve Med Supply. The $20 medical consultation portion pays for a licensed physician to review your health intake and make a clinical determination on whether a prescription is appropriate for you.The total $35 fee is non-refundable once your health intake has been submitted for physician review, regardless of the outcome. You are paying for the physician's professional time and judgment, as well as the platform's processing.

  • If you are not approved: If the physician declines to issue a prescription, you will receive a refund for the prescription medication portion of your order. You will not receive a refund for the $35 evaluation and service fee because those services were rendered.
  • If you cancel before submission: If you cancel before your intake has been submitted for physician review, you will receive a full refund, including the $35 fee.
  • If you cancel after submission: Once your intake has been submitted, cancellation may no longer be possible.
What is the FDA Boxed Warning for Ciprofloxacin?

The FDA-approved Boxed Warning for ciprofloxacin (Cipro) currently states that fluoroquinolones, including ciprofloxacin, have been associated with disabling and potentially irreversible serious adverse reactions that have occurred together, including:

• Tendinitis and tendon rupture
 • Peripheral neuropathy
 • Central nervous system effects

Ciprofloxacin should be discontinued immediately if a patient experiences any of these serious adverse reactions and patients should be switched to a non-fluoroquinolone antibacterial drug unless no alternative treatment options are available.

Fluoroquinolones may also exacerbate muscle weakness in patients with myasthenia gravis. Ciprofloxacin should be avoided in patients with a known history of myasthenia gravis.
Because fluoroquinolones have been associated with serious adverse reactions, ciprofloxacin should be reserved for use in patients who have no alternative treatment options for:

• Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis
 • Acute uncomplicated cystitis
 • Acute sinusitis
